One of my first experiences as a Director of Photography, and particularly my first time working with film. In addition to my role as DoP, I also served as Camera Operator and contributed to the Art Department. It was a small short film shot in just half a day, where I had to improvise much of the process. Used to working outdoors, this was one of my first challenges in a completely dark room, where I had to figure out when and how to introduce lighting to shape the scene. It was pretty hellish, indeed, but I love the results.
